Thank You, Thank You, Dear Friends of Building Minds in Sudan!

Thanks to your generous response to our special campaign, we have the needed additional $30,000 to construct two classrooms and thus complete our first block of four classrooms this building season!!

Each of these classrooms was made possible by many small and large gifts. Each classroom will have a plaque thanking donors and naming one $10,000 donor who helped us meet the goal for that classroom. Two of the classrooms will be dedicated to individuals, one to Perinton Presbyterian Church and one to the Downtown Presbyterian Church.

The superintendent of the Mayen-Abun Primary Schools has sent BMIS a letter thanking us for the school and telling us how pleased they are.

On behalf of the BMIS board and the almost 500 children, grades 1-8, who will benefit from having the Ajong Primary School building, we thank you for your continuing generosity and support.

We will continue to post photos of our construction progress on this site. Stay tuned! And, we will continue our Ambassador speaking/education and our fund raising activities so that we may build additional blocks of classrooms, offices, and latrines to complete the complex.
